Thanks to my Twitter friend @KristieMcNealy who informed me about the risk of allergies -
From Earth's Best website
CONTAINS: WHEAT.
Manufactured in a facility that also uses soy, milk, eggs, peanuts and most tree nuts. Good Manufacturing Practices are used to prevent introduction of undeclared allergens.

It is very important to read the fine print if your child has known allergies.

Goodness, I don't even know if I should tell you what my toddler loves to snack on! When he was a baby, I had all these plans to keep him off the junk food and unhealthy stuff. Then he turned out to be so fussy with food that his grandparents and father accused me of being too strict with his food and not caring whether he was eating enough. Sadly, I caved under all the pressure and allowed them to feed him anything and everything.

Now, he loves snacking on anything with the "Milo" logo on it (my only consolation is that it is fortified as opposed to crisps and other snacks he gets fed). He loves ice cream, and chocolate. The only fruit I can get him to eat is Mango, but he'll drink orange juice and a variety of cranberry juices.

About the only healthy stuff that he likes to eat or drink is yoghurt (only certain flavours, but I tell him it's ice cream), cheese and regular milk.

My toddler loves to snack on applesauce, fresh apple slices, grapes, raisins, almonds, bananas. Mainly finger foods or fruits sliced into finger foods. My toddler loves to eat period.

I guess even a healthier cookie is still a cookie with all that comes with being a cookie. We've had those cookies before, and they ARE good - and certainly better for you than most packaged cookies.
