| Mom’s Favorite Recipe | Fish Pie I choose 2 fish types ( salmon/ flounder is my favorite) Poach them in milk with peppercorns and nutmeg until soft and flaky. Make a white sauce using the milk from the poaching. Add cooked peas carrots and corn ( or whatever you have) and seasoning. Boil and mash potatoes with milk, cheese and garlic. Add to the fish. Bake for 15 mins or until piping hot. Serve with sprinkled sesame seeds on top. Usually add paprika or coriander so it doesn’t look so pale…try and sneak mushrooms in too. |

| Question/advice for other moms/dads | When you’re weaning it’s the best time to start trying foods out and keep trying different foods out. It’s really helped us keep a variety of foods on the menu and not get stuck with toddler tantrums over food. |
