| Mom’s Favorite Recipe | My husband makes homemade Mac n Cheese. We boil rotini (I prefer whole wheat but we usually use what’s available and make our cheese sauce with a variety of shredded hard cheeses (sharp cheddar, monterey, parmesan, etc.), milk and butter. We then add cooked veggies like peas or some Birds Eye Mixed veggies. They always pick the veggies out first and then eat the pasta. |
| Nutritional Supplements | Yes – Flintstones chewable gummies |
| Mom’s top concerns | Does not eat enough, too mush sugar, too many snacks |

| Question/advice for other moms/dads | My husband and I have two completely different nutritional styles. I’m a little bit of a health nut, and, well, he’s not. So we compromise a lot. If they get bologna for lunch, then we make sure to start them off with veggies for dinner or give them an all fruit snack to make sure they get a good nutritional balance. |
