I'm a big fan of Elisa's, and I like her eating out tips for kids. Personally, when I eat out with my 14 and 11-year old boys, they typically split a salad and then either split an adult entree or order their own! My younger son loves seafood, especially shellfish (we don't eat it at home because my older son is allergic) while big brother often gravitates to beef. Their favorite dining-out veggie is broccoli -- especially when it's steamed and then sauteed with evoo or butter and garlic.
