The Gerber brand Grabbers have Vitamin C and Vitamin E…. but the packaging is just as bad.

I think they caught on that we enjoyed the low price! I bought them at 88 cents a few weeks ago…this morning they are back up to 1.33! Outrageous. The Gerber brand Grabbes are about 20 cents more but you get over an ounce more, PLUS vitamin C and E. The Apple, Mango, Strawberry flavor has 60% Vit C, 20% Vit E, and 8% Vit A. One pouch has 2 servings of fruit.

How is it this and lots of other “100%” fruit products have no vitamins left in them ? ?? The processing they re subjected to must kill the vitamin quality/ content ..

If they were still there.. The facts label would reflect their percentages …

So many juice boxes have this same problem ..

I think it’s deceptive to consumers .. Product should reflect clearly

100% fruit with none if those pesky vitamins !!

It is the way they are packaged. Heat is used to kill organisms that are harmful and there is little to no oxygen for them to survive. this prevents their growth and spread.

I agree, the packaging is very wasteful and expensive. My daughter tried one for the first time today while we were out, and I was able to blow the package back up and fill it with water at a drinking fountain.

In my opinon, yes they are much better than a Juicy Juice box drink because with the juice you are losing that fiber and nutritional value that most young ones do not get enough of today. With Buddy Fruits, they are all pureed fruits, like a mushy drink and contain all those vitamins and minerals and you also get the fiber kids need. It is also great for adults.

Yes Cathy, they are all apple based and the flavors are all wonderfully mixed. Mostly you get that taste of apple sauce with a hint of strawberry, banana, cinnamon, or multi-fruit. they are really quite good and good for you.

I just recently found out about the Buddy Fruits and the cost has come down. I went to Walmart and they are 88 cents there so it is much more cost effective. However, the only thing I found to be questionable was the fact that it will stay good for over a year if there is no preservatives or anything like that in it. Is it just the packaging or what? But all over it is a great product and in my opinion for how convenient and fast it is, it is well worth my money to get atleast one or two servings of my daily fruits and vegetables.

Great point Athanasia! I wonder about the same. I think part of the reason this product is so expensive is because of packaging and marketing. I am sure there is a lot of room to innovate and bring that cost down.

Sodium = 10 mg
Total Carbohydrates = 15 g
Dietary Fiber = 1g
Sugars = 14 g
Protein = 0 g
