I am a Dental hygienist and Im also very concern abput my 3 year old boy nutrition.Supplements vitamins are a good way to keep you child healthy, but Iam always very careful in choosing the right supplement. There are many vitamins out there that they claim to be absorve by the body and they are not. So BE CAREFUL! For those who are concern about your child health, Nutrilite vitamins are a great source. They grow, harvest and process their plants in their own certified organic farms.

Just found you on Twitter! Great blog...it always amazes me how many parents resort to feeding their children 'junk' with the assumption it is the only thing they will eat. As a mom-to-be I am definitely looking forward to your posts!

Hi--I just found your blog through Twitter and had to check it out. I'm also a dad (of the stay-at-home variety) of toddler twins (born June 09), so I always want to see what other dads of multiples are thinking. Also looking forward to some food advice!

Great blog. I am an RD with MMSc in pediatric nutrition and worked for years in pediatric hospitals and clinics and with schools and communities. Lately, I've been travelling the world with my international family. My children (now young adults) love wholesome, fresh foods and actually CRAVE it. That's the 'win-win' -- ie--getting people to 'demand' and then the 'environment' (including food companies, restaurants, schools, etc. ) will supply. Fresh, healthy food is often much quicker and cheaper to prepare and deliver. I now write a blog, too -- it's simple, but poignant and it's about nutrition, yes, but, also all the many issues and needs that surround and support those of us committed to healthy lifestyles. I still get choked up when I see obese kids. When I was actively working, I always took all the cases of obese children that were referred from GP's that other dietitians and pediatricians refused or shunned. I loved the challenge of helping these kids and their families. It was such a privilege to see them sorted out and moving on in their lives so as to grow and develop optimally and healthfully, instead of having all the hangups and health woes of obesity crushing them -- physically, mentally, and spiritually. You see, I truly had a 'knack' for clicking with these kids as I had suffered the problem, myself. It's what drove me into the field of dietetics. Check out my blog: http://youyoumeant2b.blogspot.com/
Also, I'd be more than happy to answer questions or 'consult' for anyone 'out there' who needs help with pediatric obesity

Love that you have a great site dedicated to nutrition for toddlers and young kids! This is when good eating habits (and bad ones!) form, so it's so important to keep things healthy and fun. I wrote a recent post about how to pack a healthy lunch for a picky eater on <a href="http://EasyPeasyBlog.com" rel="nofollow">EasyPeasyBlog.com</a>. I hope you enjoy it! <a href="http://easypeasyblog.com/2010/06/sunday-savers-save-the-lunchtime-struggle/" rel="nofollow">http://easypeasyblog.com/2010/06/sunday-savers-...</a>

Hey we absoultley love the idea of having better nutrition for your kids! We are glad that a busy Dad is taking the time to create a blog on such an important subject too! We had one suggestion with your blog which will hopefully make it easier for you to promote your blog. Where you have spread the word under each blog post we assume you had to stick each ican there individually. We reccomend adding a "add this" icon to your blog which not only includes all those icons you are currently using but almost one hundred total in a simple drop down menu. Once you stick the code in your html code it will add the share this icon to any post that you have saving you a lot of time and giving others the oppurtunity to share your posts even more :) We hope you like this tip and you can find the add this icon at http://www.addthis.com

Best Wishes,
